Baltic Ground Services signs into-plane fuelling agreements with Turkish Airlines and five other carriers in PolandBaltic Ground Services, an international ground handling and aircraft fuelling provider, announces about a significant expansion of its client portfolio in Poland. Starting January 1st the company is providing fuel supply services to 6 new clients - Turkish Airlines, Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air Ukraine, SAS, TAP Portugal and Travel Service. The carriers’ flights will be supported at Warsaw Chopin Airport, Katowice International Airport and John Paul II International Airport Krakow–Balice.

“Currently the air transportation industry in Poland is undergoing steady growth. As in terms of the passenger flow it is forecasted to top 40 million passengers per year in about a decade, the demand for aviation fuelling services increases accordingly. Thus, in 2015 we expect to provide 70 000 tonnes of fuel to our clients in the region,” commented Linas Geguzis, the CEO of Baltic Ground Services Poland. “All in all, we are truly happy that last year more and more well-established industry players had been choosing comprehensive solutions offered by our company. Operating since 2010, Baltic Ground Services Poland is fully licensed to provide ground handling services across 6 Polish airports in Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan. Together with Baltic Ground Services Lithuania, it supports over 15 400 flights and provides more than 100 000 tons of fuel to its clients annually. Apart from new contracts, in 2014 Baltic Ground Services Poland also extended into-plane fuelling contracts with such loyal clients as Alitalia, Aeroflot, Czech Airlines and others.
