Baltic Ground Services (BGS) Group appoints Vytautas Cekanavicius as the new CEO

Baltic Ground Services (BGS) Group, an international provider of ground handling, aviation fuel supply, and logistics services, and a part of the Ireland-based Avia Solutions Group, announces changes in the management team. Vytautas Cekanavicius, who previously held the position of Head of Fueling at BGS Group, has been appointed as the new CEO, replacing Gytis Gumuliauskas starting from 6th of February.

BGS continues its partnership with a Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines

Baltic Ground Services (BGS), an international provider of ground handling, aircraft fueling, and logistics services, is strengthening ties and continuing its partnership with the Ukrainian carrier SkyUp Airlines. The companies have renewed a contract for into-plane fueling at Riga International Airport in Latvia and Tallinn International Airport in Estonia. Under the agreement, the companies will remain in partnership until the end of March 2024.

BGS, an international provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, has strengthened ties with Turkish charter carrier Freebird Airlines by extending the scope of cooperation. The companies have renewed a contract for into-plane fuelling at Kaunas Airport, Lithuania, and signed a new agreement for providing fuel at Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport, Czech Republic. Under the agreement, companies will remain in partnership till the end of March 2024.

BGS Starts Partnership with SAS

BGS, an international provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, has signed a new partnership agreement with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS), the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Under the contract BGS will provide the airline with ground handling services at Vilnius Airport for a period of 3 years, starting the 1st of May 2023. BGS will support 20-30 flights for SAS per week.

BGS, an international provider of ground handling, aircraft fuelling, and logistics services, has further strengthened its partnership with Europe’s fastest growing and most sustainable airline Wizz Air. Under the renewed agreement, BGS will provide the airline with into-plane fuelling at Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga airports. The agreement has gone into effect on the 1st of April 2023 for one year.

Under the renewed contract, BGS will provide Ryanair with into-plane fuelling at Vilnius and Palanga airports in Lithuania, and Leoš Janáček airport in the Czech Republic. The contract will come into effect on the 1st of April 2023 for a period of one year.
